Verizon (Moto) Droid is Awesome

So Friday I headed down to Verizon and got the Motorola Droid after my wife forced me in to getting it.  :)

The Droid has to be, by far, the best phone that Verizon has ever offered, period.  The Market has may software titles to offer, and the phone is quick.  People have complained about battery life, or the fact that some of the apps in the Market are junk…  but that is a similar argument for the iPhone.

Overall, I think that the Droid is a great, solid phone that is definitely worth buying.

Good to hear from you as well… I talked to some people at Verizon, and they said that talks with Apple about the iPhone are over… I don’t think they are getting it.

However, it is speculated that they may get some other type of Apple branded device… so as they say, only time will tell. :)
